  • Association Management Since April 2009, HuffmanPA has guided the advocacy, public policy development, and strategic communications for the Chambers of Commerce Alliance of Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties. This group is considered the most influential alliance of its kind, and HuffmanPA is credited with its growth and revitalization.
  • Community Relations When PacFed Benefit Administrators sought to raise their profile among opinion leaders and decision makers, HuffmanPA crafted a set of strategies to impress PacFed’s existing client base and open new doors for new prospects, along the way establishing relationships with influential officeholders.

  • Issue Advocacy After two Texas oil companies qualified a ballot initiative to essentially repeal California’s landmark greenhouse gas emissions law, HuffmanPA was assigned primarily to lobby business groups to stay out. Prop. 23 was soundly defeated, 60-40%.
  • Public Policy Development HuffmanPA was retained by the Southern California Water Committee to update their legislative agenda and government affairs programs and played a key role in transforming its annual event into a widely attended and highly profitable festivity. Today, SCWC’s legislative program ensures that the organization stays on top of timely issues and has significantly increased the organization’s value to its members.
